Could someone [anyone] tell me why, exactly, the large and gaudy beads I wear on a daily basis [starting with the "Wilma Flinstone" beads I wore religiously despite constant commentary for quite some time (in fact i'm wearing them now) then moving on to collecting all colors I could find at flea markets and yard sales for no more than a dollar]
