The older I get, the less I come here. I don't know if it's part of the aging process or if my thoughts/feelings have lost their importance with age. Or maybe it's simply the fact that I'm an introvert and it's difficult for me to write about "real things" instead of the "idea of things". Any time I describe real life events here, it feels awkward

I am sorry your coworker/friend is not well. I hope she returns to work soon. She sounds like an awesome person, I am glad to hear she is at work for the same reasons you are... It is good that you both have touched the lives of the patients there

Sorry for the (very) late reply, I've been neglecting lj terribly. Thank you for your concern. She isn't back at work but she is doing much better. We still keep in touch but I still miss having her around.
