I just found out that another of my friends is engaged. He's getting married next August. That's yet another engagement to hear about. I'm increadibly happy for him and all my other friends that are engeged as well, but i cant help but get a little depressed at the news of that. I had a three year plus relationship overseas. We would visit as often as humanly possible but ultimately distance ended us. I can now say how much I truely applaud people who can maintain those sorts of relationships, for it must take effort that's astronomically more than what I put forth. And not to be egotistical but I put forth a TON of effort into keeping her and I together for those three years
