Finally the weather is beginning to change - I've been eager for Spring for over a month! But with it comes my terrible allergies. Ugh! And now I have a cold - FUCK! *shakes fist*
I'm on my couch watching a Law & Order marathon. So, I thought this would be the best time for me to upload my pictures from France. :-)

For Spring Break, I took a Study ( Read more... )

Haha! Sweet, I would love to have someone to go with to a gay bar. :-)
I literally have no one to go with where I live now. :-(

Hugo's apartment is amazing! Every room has a different decorating theme. :-D

Thanks, I'm glad you like them!

N'AAAAAAAAA! Yes! So.... Great city or the greatest city? AHAH

Recently I'm SO obsessed with Napoléon. You're lucky!
He was an ass, ok, but he did tremendous things for France and that's got to be something. ^^

Hmmm...I think I would have to say "Greatest City!!!" XD
Seriously though, it was my third time staying in Paris (plus I got to go to other cities in France) and I can still say that it is my favorite city in the world! It will always have a special place in my heart, and it will always be like my home-away-from-home, ya know? :-)

Haha, Napoleon! ;-P
Absolutely! You know, it's interesting, how there are a lot of streets, monuments, city sites, etc. in Paris that are dedicated to Napoleon's accomplishments, but there is NOT one single thing dedicated to HIM personally. The relationship that the French have with Napoleon is almost like a love/hate kind of thing. Est-ce que tu d'accord?

It's quite fascinating! I could go on and on about this - mostly because I actually wrote a history paper on France's relationship with Napoleon long after his death. ^_^

Merci, mon amie! <3

I do know, yeah! I feel quite the same towards London or Oxford, even Brighton and NYC sometimes... But rarely. ^^ For Paris, too, actually. Hmm... To conclude, yeah, I DO understand. ^^

I went to Cherbourg, recently and there's this HUGE statue of Napoléon and it seemed to me that Cherbourg is actually proud to be the place where he wanted to "rebuild" Egypt. (That's what the statue said, anyway.) But you're quite right, yeah. I feel not ashamed but kind of, to like him. Because he was an emperor and we are a republic and we shouldn't like monarchs or whatever. But I also think that the "LEADER" in general is not THAT appreciated in France. Just take a look at how Sarkozy is despised. Lots of people think that he's just a jerk! A tiny one. (I know I do. ^^)
But I like him and Joséphine was cute. =D

Don't worry! I'm an History Nerd!

Ca m'a fait plaisir! =)

Oh, very nice :) beautiful pics.
I'm no architecture or decorator person, but I'll agree with you on Notre Dame being a beautiful building.

Oh, can I take you to the gay bar? :P

Remind me to tell you about my adventure almost getting lost in the French Underground sometime :P

Oh, those pics of Notre Dame are just a few out of almost 60 pictures that I have of it from my previous trips! ;-P
I love that place way too much, I think!

I WOULD LITERALLY LOVE TO GO TO A GAY BAR WITH YOU! <333
I was gonna tell saxokitty, "Sure, I'll go hang out with you at a gay bar, but just so you know, my heart belongs to lady_sci_fi." ;-D

Oh, HAHAHA!! XD Yep, the Metro can be easy to get lost in sometimes. Believe me, I too, know from experience! ;-P
Yes! Please message me about your adventure in the French Underground. :-D

Thanks! Paris is quite lovely and NEVER gets boring. I've been there three times now, and I still find more stuff that I haven't seen before. :-)

I'm a huge history nerd, and so that stuff is like magnetic to me. ;-P
Ooh, Amsterdam is one place I would love to visit sometime!
