Actually, voting absentee is about the safest way to make sure your vote gets counted, and with all the accusations of voter fraud flying from both sides, it's a smart move. I voted absentee and I had no reason to other than I wanted to make sure my vote didn't get discounted for whatever reason.

But yeah, I got mine in the mail, it was super simple, they provide an envelope and everything, you just need to vote, get someone who's over 18 to verify that it's you (and by verify I mean sign on the line next to where you signed, it's nothing complicated) slap a stamp on it and mail it in.
I think you can pick up absentee ballots at the post office. If not, I'm sure they would know where to get them. Hell, next time a campaigner calls, just ask them where to get one, they'll probably hand-deliver it just to make sure you have a chance to have your voice heard (in some infintessimally small way, but still).
