Ah well. I was 4,500 k short on my nano, but no one can't say I didn't try! I did type over 10,000 words in under four hours, without eating and my fingers completely numb. I decided to share my last half hour of typing, which is about the point I lost my fucking mind. Observe

I would have added in helpful things like paragraphs and punctuation but Mike said that any sort of editing would take away from the total insanity that comes with writing 2,000 words in under thirty minutes in a desperate attempt to complete my nano on time. That, and my hands were completely numb at that point from writing non stop for about four hours. So sorry for hurting your eyes! XP XD

The hashtag lets everyone know that these are the people you are recommending others follow this friday. In this way, hashtags allow you to identify your post as related to that particular subject.
If a lot of people use the same hashtag, that particular tag will eventually become a "trending topic," that is, the topic that the most people are tweeting about right now.
There's a few other cool little things about hashtags, but that's the basics.
