Does anyone want to play a game? Give me a scene or storyline from Glee and I'll either rewrite it or tell you why it went the same as canon with Kurt as Loki's son.
I don't really know Glee that well but I'm game if you are...Loki as Kurt's son BUT Bryan Ryan was secretly Billy aka Dr. Horrible on one of his evil plots...
Hum... maybe Kurt's treatment of Quinn after her pregnancy? In canon, everything she went though was dismissed as "rich white girl problems", and Kurt sadly jumped on that bandwagon. Hopefully having a mother who's a shapeshifting God (and who lived both as a man and as a woman) would change that?
I'm actually not sure if Kurt's crush on Finn would've ended up so fully-fledged in this 'verse. But regardless of how Burt&Carole met, they still did. So Burt would still be connecting with Finn in ways he never did Kurt, so Kurt would still feel hurt by that.
But his 'relationship' with Brittany and trying to appear all 'masculine'... I dunno.
I think I'll have to rewatch that ep and see if anything sparks, because now I kinda want either Loki or Fenrir to show up after he sings Rose's Turn.
Okay, yeah, Kurt would've treated Quinn differently. The whole argument at the God Squad didn't happen, because Karofsky never tried to kill himself, because he never left McKinley and had a friendly relationship with Kurt (he still crushed on him, but he never made a move).
So Quinn was off having her Skank phase, and the whole thing with Beth&Shelby still happened, and I'm not actually sure Kurt noticed. He was busy with his family, and SHIELD, and his own life, and he never really connected with anyone in Lima who wasn't Blaine or related to him.
But Quinn's accident never happened either, because the Finchel wedding didn't.
... I'm not sure I actually answered your question.
Kurt, as Loki's son, would not dismiss all of Quinn's experience as 'rich white girl problems,' if he noticed. But by that point, he was looking to the future and mentally gone from Lima. Does that make sense?
Kurt would've gotten Unique immediately. I think she's meant to be transgender? Has that been made clear yet, in canon? I'm not sure if they're trying to show us that Wade feels like he was born a girl in a boy's body, so Unique is who she really is, so I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to rewrite that, yet.
But, yeah. Kurt would've totally understood from the get-go, because (for him), gender has been fluid ever since Fenrir explained that Kurt's Mama is the same as Fenrir's Papa. *shrugs*
Yeah, I have actually been thinking about why he would end up at Dalton, if he was never actually in danger from Karofsky - Karofsky could threaten all he liked, but Kurt couldn't be hurt (physically), and by junior year, he'd completely embraced the fact that he was Loki's son.
Kurt's going to NYU. I'm not sure for what, exactly. Rachel's at NYADA, though.
Because Kurt had Loki and his siblings, he didn't throw himself fully into performing for escape, like I think he does in canon. He loves it, yeah, but it's not his whole world.

All I know about Dr. Horrible is that there's some sort of horse involved, sorry. Wanna pick something else?

I think I'll be writing this one.

So, I wrote 1300 words for you this afternoon. I'm about to post it to Ao3; I'll put it up here sometime tomorrow, most likely.
