What a great blog! I am so glad year 2 is better for you. I loved the story about the taxicab. Have you considered buying a karaoke machine for your home? You could throw your own parties! They sell the soundtracks and everything, with (English) words. You'd probably love it. Maybe we'll get one for the next time you come to the States. Happy New Year, Mel. You make us very proud!

Hi Mel,
I loved reading about your parties and stories. What fun! Sounds like you had such a great time. Erin drove most of the way home from your dad's house. She did a great job and is hereby certified as a long distance driver on expressways...
I got the travel guide and am enjoying reading about all the cool things we can do in July. I want to make my reservation within the next couple of weeks so will be in touch about the dates soon.
The second year of teaching is so much fun. I'm glad you gave yourself the opportunity to find that out. The first year is so miserable but there's no way through it except to do it. You've survived it and I'm proud of you. Lots of love, Linda
