Oh, I love this.

I hope the number was for the original ticket - the one way one. I know that my BoE does the same thing, and they gave the guy leaving about double his ticket price, and he was only going one way anyway.

I hope she continues to question THE RULE!

The number was actually kind of low. SOMEWHERE they found a one-way on United for about $1,400. I doubt very much that such a price will still be there when I go to look for it. So in total, the number was around $1600 to account for the train ticket down to Tokyo.

BUT.

Because my supervisor felt so empowered after her struggles yesterday, she called me up at 8 and was like, "Mel...if you had about $2000, that would be best, right?"
Me: "Well, yea, that would provide sufficient wiggle room for everything I need."
Her: "Ok...ok...ok. Ok. Ok...so tomorrow, I'm gonna 'ganbaru' the hell out things and see if I can't get you the $2000."

XD

Oh good! I was hoping there'd be something in there you could use. ^^

The story is still swimming in my head, btw. (In a good, lasting impression kind of way way. Not in a "If I go over this enough times in my head, I've gotta find SOMETHING that made reading Breaking Dawn worth while" kind of way. ;)

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!

For the sake of the greater good. Now no Twilight fan can say I didn't read it and therefore don't understand.

...I'm not sure it was COMPLETELY worth it. >_
