i had planned on knitting a sweater for my mom... well let's just say it's come and gone and this is all i have to show...

you do realize.. you still have two fronts, two sleeves, blocking and seaming to do, right? do you need to pickup and knit any for the closure?

no blocking for me i don't think.... since its lace or do i?

you do! you won't see teh lace pattern and it will look lumpy! always block! Unless its like a scarf or mittens, hats, etc.
