Daesung ran down the stairs faster than he ever had done before. His heart was in his throat and his temples pulsed. “Seunghyun!” He shouted breathlessly.
Seunghyun was already on his way out on the street and heard his lover cry out his name but he didn’t stop. He kept telling himself not to go back and beg for forgiveness. Not to beg for Daesung to take him into his arms and reassure him that everything would be ok.
Because it wouldn’t be ok. Not after what he had done. After what he had said.
“Seunghyun!” Daesung reached the bottom floor and saw Seunghyun just standing out on the street, looking up to the sky. “Hyung…” He slowed down to a light sprint and eventually stopped beside his lover slightly panting from the run.
“Daesung,” Seunghyun still looked up to the clouded sky and raindrops started to fall. “I want you take care of yourself ok?”
“What?”
“I can’t-” Seunghyun said in a low tone and turned his head downward to take a last look at his former lover’s beautiful face.
“No!” Daesung suddenly shouted. “Look, if you’re doing what I think you’re doing, stop! I won’t let you leave! It doesn’t matter what you did,” At this Daesung’s eyes turned pleading, “because I forgive you. And that’s all that matters.”
Seunghyun smiled a little secretive as he looked deep into Daesung’s eyes, “My sweet Daesung… you’re still so naïve. I have to leave, it’s the only way you’ll be happy. Truly happy.”
The small raindrops turned heavier and as the larger drops fell so did Daesung’s hope.
“I don’t understand…” Daesung tried as he wheezed from the pain and confusion in his heart.
”I’m sorry,” Seunghyun said and he stuffed his hands deep into his pockets. He turned his back on Daesung and walked away.
“See, I told you that you’d never see me cry.” Whispered the broken shell of a man to himself as the tears rolled down his cheeks, blending with the rain.

That last sentence seems kinda unnecessary but damn it, it sounds so cool! >.<
