Haha-- I see someone succumbed to the 'revolution' and the "Revolution #9" whispers that came off of this prompt.
My husband was tempted by Revolution #9, and then decided no one would understand what he was even talking about. I could not persuade him he was wrong. ;)
I'm still just as crap at interpreting poetry as I was the last season I read your stuff, but I always make sure to read it because I just like going through the experience of it, even if I can't follow what you mean with it.
Well, thanks for reading! That is always welcome. (Sorry I didn't see this comment until six days later.) Sometimes I am not sure myself what I "mean" to say. I let myself go and run with words rising straight up through my mind, without much planning, and the result is usually some ambiguity of meaning, no doubt leading to ambivalence of response. At times, I obsess over details of the sounds of words and rhythm of expression, or even the physical appearance on the page (whether paper or computer screen). At times I even say that I paint "with a typewriter" (but that will tell you how old I am). Thanks again for your attention and comment.
I miss a good typewriter. It was a little before my time- they were still around and I used one a couple times in elementary school, but mostly they were a novelty. Super satisfying sounds though. I kind of miss them.
Thanks for taking me through your process. I've been a bit hooked into reading your things since my first season.
