i feel so comforted and even ecstatic to see the words that you write about india because i feel so much of the same way (how can i explain fickle nature of time? instability? all of it...) it's so true.

anna, sweetheart, you're right that it is okay to weep. i've wept here in ways i've never wept anywhere else and in ways that i probably never will again. it's another way to leave your heart where it is when it is there, and i think that's beautiful. (keiki told me once that you have to live to vow to have your heart broken 10,000 times and it's sometimes the most perfect thing to think of).

let's not talk of leaving such places. my parents just left me today and tomorrow i leave for a week of travelling. when i come back, i will have a scant few weeks to take in all of the great beer i can and fill my quota (which is neverending) of my crazy belgian family. but let's not talk of such things.

did you know britney spears is preggers, AGAIN?!
