I want to buy a Nintendo DS! (This is so I don't feel left out when I meet up with nerdy friends at random boba places :>!! and plus I just want one, they're so cool! :>) I'm a total n00b when it comes to the DS so is there anything I should know? How much does it run for nowadays? The two games I have in mind to get are Mario Kart and Nintendogs

I have Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Mario 64 DS, and Nintendogs: Lab version. I recommend all of those games :}

I would suggest Animal Crossing. I haven't played my copy of it yet 'cause of finals, but my boyfriend is addcited to it, so it must be decent. LOL.

And in terms of the actual DS, if you are considering getting Nintendogs, I would purchase the bundle pack that comes with either a pink or teal DS & nintendogs: best friends version. You save money... PLUS it's the only way to get the limited edition colors~! I have the pink one currenty... I haven't seen that many people with it. I know there's also the basic black & blue colors... and a red version that comes with Mario Kart (bundle pack).

I have a blue DS that my boyfriend got me for Xmas. I haven't really played it much because I'm always on the computer @_@. But I have Nintendogs too, I dunno what version? But I have a mini dachshund in the game. Oh and MarioKart is SO freaking fun, especially when you're playing with other people. OMFG, we should play MarioKart with each other at AX as Aeris and Tifa, haha =P.
