~DAY 1~
McDonald's pit stop...
mmm mmmm~~
of course, Jon got his McFlurry
lots of roadtrip bonding took place...
when we made it at around 8-9pm we hurried to our first stop for our resident Trekkie Gina...
the STAR TREK EXPERIENCE :> :>
but first the guys had to gawk at the 'flaming batmobile' we found...
finally inside...
take it from me... you don't need to be a Trekkie to think the EXPERIENCE is KICK ASS...
beautiful costumes at the costume museum :>
And the best part... the Star Trek restaurant and it's BOMB ASS alcoholic drinks...
This is the WARP CORE BREECH... There is actually DRY ICE on the bottom of the drink making it fog and bubble like a cauldron... it was unlike anything I had ever seen... or drank :>==
more than a little inebriated here... :>;;;

~DAY 2~
mmm buffet food ;b
people walking by thought i was a statue at the luxor
... not really :>
cool light at THEhotel XD
then... to New York New York...
our men succeeded in getting us matching bunnies from the crane machine :>
at this time (and after much begging on my part) Jon and I went on the Manhattan Express roller coaster which was WAYYYYYY FUN (give me the most crazy roller coasters and I'm on em!!)... Jon almost lost his glasses on the corkscrew though!! They seriously fell off and he caught them in his hand mid-air... and had to hold onto them for the rest of the ride O_O;;;;;;
chilling at the New York "citywalk"...
and THEN... we made our way back to the Excalibur to change into nicer clothes for what I THOUGHT was a nice dinner... I thought it was weird that Jon kept insisting that we hurry... I kept thinking "wtf are we in a hurry to do"...
we made it to the venetian... Jon disappeared, Gina disappeared... I was like "uhhhhh...."... and then Will suddenly pulled out his camera...
and I soon found Jon's arms around me... holding two tickets...
for THE PHANTOM SPECTACULAR at THE VENETIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gina and Will were like "HURRY HURRY CRISTINA!" I looked at my watch... it was 7:01pm and the show was supposed to start at 7:00pm! I was so excited and surprised that I scurried over there with Jon... and the second we got our asses on teh seat the beautiful show started...
When it was able to sink in that I was finally seeing the PHANTOM musical... I literally cried tears of happiness!!
After the show I was able to get two pics of the permanent Phantom theater before I got in trouble for taking pics x.x
Absolutely stoked!!

but first... two pit stops... one at the discount designer outlets at Primm... and the other at TOM'S DINER, Jon's favorite restaurant in his hometown, VICTORVILLE
Tom's garden burger = yummy!!
What can I say?... my birthday getaway KICKED ASS!! Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen!!!!
