ANIME EXPO 2006 - DAY ONE
For the uninitiated on my FL, AX is a convention for Japanese animation... basically a weekend-long party in Anaheim of people playing dress-up, spending ungodly amounts of money, and having a bomb-ass time in the name of anime :> It's an event I look forward to all year, and I can definitely say that this AX has been the best one of all time!
SATURDAY began with a long walk and two tram rides. Con parking was full (or at least we thought x.x;;), so we went to park at D-Land hoping to park at Timon which is like right across the street from the con center. Err instead we were forced to park at Mickey and Friends x.x;;;;; Having already paid for parking we were like 'fuck it' and decided to make the long journey...

By the time we got to the con I was mildly sunburned... it was HELLA HOT!

That night, we went to Stephanie's performance at AX's 15th anniversary party and enjoyed ourselves very much :>

That night, Chrissy and I surprised Gina with a gift! A few weeks earlier I had found that someone was selling an autographed Anza photobook on Ebay. Chrissy thought Gina didn't have it already, so I decided to bid on it and won it...
We discovered that Gina actually already DOES have the book x.x;;;;;;; Nonetheless I hope she is happy that her friends thought about her...
That night after Gina went home we went to Lionel's garage shoot... he has made a brand new prop bike for 2006 - Advent Children Fenrir...
Then it was off to the bar for a drink...

it tasted so frickin good :>;;; People expressed shock that I actually like the taste of alcohol
On the way back to our car, we found Ben, whose company we enjoyed very much :>
