I am now the official "Events Snapshots" photographer for Alameda Magazine! It's basically an ongoing freelance gig, I have to attend local fundraising/gala events for about an hour and take about 15 photos at each, write up a headline and 100-word blurb for each. And I'll be getting paid $50 per event, with the expectation of covering three events

thankyas! Sadly, they aren't that high tech yet...but I think a website is in the future works. Most of my work will be out in the March/April issue...nothing stellar but if you're interested I could always send you a copy. And thanks for the craigslist tip...I have been checking often, I just need to find the time to sit down and actually *apply* for the jobs. Hoping to get some resumes out this Wednesday :)
