The Stack

Every avid reader I know has a Stack. The Stack is a collection of unread books in the reader's possession that he or she plans to read in the near future. When DVRs became popular, we readers already knew the flavor of anxiety of those who view their Tivo queues as to-do lists that keep filling up, because we'd already been feeling the same thing ( Read more... )

Wow that's some list. Have to say Practical Demonkeeping is worth the read but you already figured that out or it wouldn't be on the list. I'm pretty sure it was my first introduction to Moore and added one more Moore to my must have everything by list (although I haven't started that particular collection.)
And now I am intrigued to read the C of ML & #10 O!
Don't know if I'll make a similar stack post or not but I will try.

Barry Hughart's books have been out of print for a while, I think. The collection recently published by Subterranean Press is (just checked) really expensive, but I see that Amazon has new copies of Bridge of Birds. You can also sometimes find Bridge of Birds at Half Price Books.
