My fiancee and I spent half of Saturday at the Texas Pinball Festival in Grapevine. While neither of us was sure if it would be worth our time or money, I can say with confidence that we both easily got our fifteen bucks' worth out of the few hours we were there.

GOD. SO. JEALOUS. If jealousy was edible I'd be able to feed all the pets I ever own for the rest of my life. Then again, they'd probably bite me. At least.

You have to understand that Tenchuu and I dropped a ton of quarters into the Twilight Zone pinball machine at the arcade near the dollar cinema when we were in high school. Tim's jealousy comes from the fact that you and I could play Twilight Zone and others like it for hours, teasing out the secrets of those machines.

If might reduce Tenchuu's jealousy to know that we couldn't hear much of the great sounds that the Twilight Zone machine makes. They just didn't have the volume cranked on that particular machine.

The only thing that could have made Tenchuu's jealousy worse would be for me to say that the convention also had the Time Killers game. (The convention had no such thing, of course, but that's the sort of thing that would make his jealousy worse. I'm just sayin'.)

I'm pretty sure that Time Killers got the rest of the quarters that we didn't drop into Twilight Zone.
