Those teas sound absolutely delicious, and have set me to craving a cup of my own now. *eyes the Twinings' Lady Grey in her kitchen* Much like I am now craving a read of that novel you linked to! I hope you enjoy your read!
I've tried the cinnamon orange and the mint and the Prince of Wales blend. I'm enjoying some of the mint right now, in fact. Love the lovely mint...
Get the book! Read it! *shamelessly plugs* The author is the self-same Lady of The Masque mentioned in this entry. I've been hearing about these books for ages now; it's exciting to finally read more than a couple pages. :3 Also! I'm credited in the acknowledgments as Qestral! *double-thrilled* I basically joygasmed all over the dining room when I saw that.
EEEEEE-HEE-HEE-HEE-HEE-HEEEEEEEE!! *cackles like a truly gleeful eeeeevillll little card-carrying-pagan witch (the nice kind of witch)*
Oh, Tiki darling, you don't know how HARD it was to keep my big mouth shut on just what, exactly, was in that box. (psssst, it's Prince of Wales, no 'h', tea; the only blubber involved is you blubbering with joy over your wakame...but don't do that, as it might get soggy before it's soup-time) All I could do was restrict myself to saying 'the book...and tea'. Thank goodness "tea" can be considered plural as well as singular! *displays teeth-marks from where she bit her knuckles, keeping her big mouth shut*
I had a great time picking out weird local teas for you to try. I even went back into the store to buy even more tea (mostly the loose-leaf little baggies), 'cause the box was too gorram big, and I needed to pack more stuff into it
( ... )
Pre Message: I got a job and a new headset, along with a new hairdo
The Tea
Looseleaf sample bags:
Coconut Pouchong Sweetberry Tea Organic Genmaicha Green Bush Ginger Lime White Licorice Pu-Erh Rose Vanilla Almond Kathmandu
In tea bags:
Twinings' Prince of Whales tea Green Osmanthus (technically in a bag; it's a strange bag-like contraption and I'm very curious to test it)
Looseleaf:
Moroccan Mint Cinnamon Orange (source of the smell upon opening the box, I discovered) Genmai Matcha
...It will take me at least six months to make it through all of this. Not even kidding. If I drank tea only from the selection Lotm has provided me with, it would take that long at the very minimum to finish it all.
I feel so spoiled! X3
Myself: *thud*
Do enjoy those teas, some of them I've never heard of. Happy drinking, Meow
