it's never been easy to be a man -- or so i imagine. well, it's easy for one man -- mlfoley -- but he's always the exception!

if you doubt the difficulties of manhood, just check out how wrong you could have been steered by GQ over the years!

My grandfather has a closet FULL of jumpsuits. In many colors. He wore them daily until he moved to the nursing home. My favorite combo was the beige jumpsuit he always wore with a pink cardigan on top. Seriously! I think at one time it might have been fashionable in certain circles? The part of his closet that isn't full of jumpsuits is full of polyester shirts with very loud prints, so whatever that time period was.

i think i ♥ your grandfather. seriously, some men can carry it off... navy pilots, astronauts, adorable grampas... but i don't think most men can :)

he also always had an abe lincoln beard. you know, with no moustache. and wore his hair slicked back. oh, and a fanny pack. he had a very definite style, however questionable.

I think there's some wonderful stuff here. Like the yellow suits and the playing card shorts.
