is there anyone on my FL who's a boston red sox fan? because.... i'm rooting for the rockies! yay!

i'm just glad that the sox broke the curse in 2004, because i would be really conflicted otherwise (they so earned that win over the years!); as it is... go rocks!

Go Rockies! Not that I'm a huge fan, but hey, I'm a Colorado native, born and braised! (I don't think I'll ever leave, either.) My dad's old Rockies hat has to be one of my favorites to wear when shoveling snow.

I was a high school senior in 1993, which was their inaugural year, and my English teacher was a huge baseball fan... English was my sixth hour class, the last one of the day, and one of their first home games happened to start right at the beginning of that class. As we walked in the door, our teacher said we had a free day because she really wanted to watch the game, so that's what we did for an entire hour! I don't think she went home right away- she was GLUED to the television!

I just missed the top of the first and Boston's first batter made a home run... bastards. But instead of Crackerjacks and peanuts, how about Flintstones Chewable Morphine?!
