I recently bought all these books, will try to knock them off one by one:

Haven't gotten around to starting it yet, Dark Tower books are pretty special to me, I need to get into a certain mindset, so I'm waiting around to get in the mood.

i dont think so, i havent read it yet. it's from a new british author and got really good reviews and was all over the bookstores last fall when it came out.

you should ask bollox - he reads quite a bit of haddon if i remember correctly..

i really dug snowcrash when i read it around 3 yrs ago, i think mainly because it dealt with hyperinflation and all the weird shite that was happening due to the economic instability..

and i dug the female character muchly for some reason..also hiro protagonist [haha i love that name]

A Song For Lya looks really good... I'll be making a trip over to Barnes and Noble... or visiting amazon. I'm checking out the author's site and I'm really liking "Fevre Dream."

Don't forget the Ice and Fire series, that's his most epic work so far. I'm reading Lya at the moment, and its really good.

Have you ever heard of the Sandman comics? I think you would really like them. Its by Neil Gaiman.

Yeah, we talked about it once if I recall correctly. It has art by one of my favorite artists, Yoshitaka Amano. But I havent read any issues, I wouldnt know hwere to start...should I buy from Amazon? Does it have color artwork?

All color artwork. I've recommended it to a select few, but I forget who, you're all that special to me =) I forget where my brother got them from, but I'm 99% positive he got them from amazon. Def. read them. Excellent excellent stuff. =)

hey, thanx, sorry couldnt get back earlier as i was out of town...the trip will be presented shortly in livejournal with tons of pictures and delightful snippets.
anyway i think the band you are talking about is "arbovirus", "din bodol" is the name of the mixed album the song was a part of. i tried to format the names for you, so what you see as the file name is usually the band's name followed by the song title.
i'm usually very excited to share my musical taste and very anal retentive while making mix cds...so dont get too creeped out by my speed.
PS: please check out black and watson brothers more carefully, my #1 and #2 favorites basically.
