Chicago!

My friend Rad always gets some weird and interesting jobs. He isn't like the rest of us regular folks. He always works for a couple of months a year, saves up some cash and leaves for some distant corner of the earth. Travels around for a few months till his cash runs dry, comes back to NYC and repeats the whole process over again ( Read more... )

sounds like a wicked adventure. nice pictures too! :D

i didn't have much fun the two times i went to chicago but that's because i went with the 'rents to visit our super-dysfunctional family. and there wasn't anyone close to my age to chill with. meh, maybe next time'll be better.

yeah it was pretty fun, but i'm more of a regular tourist type than rad and kabir. they are more of the wandering, youth hostel staying travellers. me, i need my warm bed, hot shower and coffee, i don't care if i'm deep in the brazillian rainforest or in the middle of the sahara.

lemon snicket beparta ki? im glad you decided to read the farseer trilogy, hopefully you will like them. i'm currently reading through the second book now. it really is sorta different and reads like a normal, sweet coming of age novel rather than some dungeons and dragons crap.

Hey, great pics! Glad you went away for awhile. I'm sure it felt good =) I like the pics of the fountain and the one with you lying on the ground in 'conrete jungle.' There are tons of Rainforest Cafe's in FL... though I've never eaten in one... I've walked past it many time. Its REAL expensive.

thanx, hmm i havent noticed one in manhattan...which is the odd thing, as in NYC we actually dont have many of these food chains.
part of why NYC is so cool i guess, lots of indigenious mom and pop stuff here.
but i wouldnt mind eating at the rainforest cafe or one of those fancy hamburger chains from cali.
