Another day of “if I though he cared it would be sabatoge”.
He came out to the Dining Room durin School Time and announced lunch and Starbucks.*. I got a medium a la carte order of Kung Pao Chicken, so it was better than it could have been, but still :/. Then it turns out he’d bribed The Flying Squirrel into making bread from scratch and OhMyGodICan’tResistFreshBread... so dinner was four slices :$ and 2 servings of Clam Chowder.
I did do all three workouts, which was good, but Errrggghh.
The chores are also taken a hit because though I don’t spend more than 1.5 hours working out, I’m so unfocused and unorganized that nothing other than school/food/dishes gets handled on the regular.
* There is a concern other that my eating regimen because as have so many others, Z has been laid off from his job. Given what’s going on, I’m really worried and have been thinking of all the ways to pull back, meanwhile he keeps wanting to go get food or Starbucks or snacks. The last few jobs he’s had have gotten him accustomed to having a nice takeout lunch from a restaurant, so that being home with tuna sandwhich or grilled cheese or soup quickly bore him and he gets restless for good takeout. I never said anything when he was gainfully employed because he is the breadwinner and we don’t have the kind of relationship in which he doesn’t verbally retaliate instead of listening. Yes, in the grand scheme of things it’s not a lot, but it is the same amount of money that if saved would let us squeak by another week of milk/eggs/staples that can feed us for a week.
