Man it is hard!! But you really got to be stubborn and not give up.
I do miss skiing and remember how fun it was. I don't own skis myself, but when I move to Colorado I plan to get some so I can switch between the two. Skiing is a lot easy to maneuver and not kill yourself. :D
Not sure Rob. Now with work, I can't really take time off. Maybe when I get a graphic job and I quit my current part time job, I'll have some free time to come over. Don't know when that will be but I hope so soon...and if I do get like a typical 9-5 job, then I could come for a weekend sometime...
I have a lot of friends into boarding -- I am broke and have no balance :(. 16 dollars for a day is CHEAP. Holy crap! You're lucky, from what I hear my friends complain about :D.
I hear Toronto's not the funnest place in Canada. :(. I love this country to bits, but I don't think I'd ever want to live there. Maritimes plz! :D Enjoy your stay and have fun!
Yeah, personally, I don't like Toronto all that much. After travelling, I realized Ottawa wasn't so great either. But if you're really into the city, like some people I know, then Toronto is for you. It's really just packed to the brim with immigrants. Not that that's a bad thing, just sometimes I don't feel like I'm in Canada, haha!
Ooo you should take her up on the offer :) It is wicked hard to learn. So much more difficult than skiing. But once you do it right, it is a lot of fun.
You know...doing snowboarding I have become more aware of how flexible our body actually is! Ha
Like I swear I should have twisted my ankle many times with how my board gets twisted (usually happens when I'm just locked in with one foot)...but I'm still good. The human body is pretty resilient.
No, I've never been skiing. I don't do too many high adrenaline things. I can't even enjoy sledding because it is so scary to me! I should learn to be brave.
