If people can't see the value in things, then that's their loss, not yours.

And genre or medium really dont have a single thing to do with that.

That said, have you watched Amelie? I was watching it with Colton and Britt, and Colton basically went HORROR TROPE AAAA Every five minutes.
Its really romcom type of thing tho, except it includes HOW SCARY SOCIAL CONTACT can be, and aah. Anyway. Thought that might be relevant to your interests, stylistically.

I have watched Le Secret Destin d'Amelie Poulin! I didn't get the horror-trope vibe off it, and I'm usually pretty good at that sort of thing, so I guess a rewatch is in order eventually.

I think it helped that he was watching at 6 the morning. Every second after midnight one becomes better at identifying horror tropes, RIGHT THAT'S HOW IT WORKS RIGHT?
