Very good job!! Their interaction is very nice and interesting to read. I love how serious Near is, while Mello's always so unpredictable.

The final part was wonderful; I'd been wondering what was crossing Mello's mind during all that time, and it seems that he'd been paying Near too much attention. That, or the competition with Near always made Mello too heated for his own good, hehe. He might be aware that taking Near off guard and to his territory is the best way to beat him.
