"Are you kidding me?"

For the millionth time, Metis peered at the wide, lazy river below them (about ten, twenty feet down? Metis didn't know - but the bridge was high). Josh urged him to jump.
"No way." Metis attempted to scramble back; Josh held him in place with strong fingers and an evil little grin. "Oh no. Push me and God help me, Josh, I'll-"
Muscled arms wrapped around him, effectively cutting off his threats - suddenly they were falling twenty, thirty feet (he didn't know); Josh laughed in his ear.
Oh, man, would the jock regret this.
