fuck that. i think that was a travesty. the screeplay was good, the movie not that great. too overt. i'm happy Lee won best director, he deserved it. personally, i wanted Munich to win, but that was a impossibility (did you see how bitter spielberg was--completley cynical nad in that"fuck it " mood? ) well, anyways. hope to see you soon.

compared to a lot of other films though, i still think crash was deserving. munich was excellent, and i still need to see brokeback mountain...

the thing is, it was really tough this year because all of them were high caliber films--all of them, not one bad one. but, there are always better and worse within those high standards... such is the human condition, too, i guess./ Glue, are you really comijn over this friday, brosef? we should hang out, dude!
