What a very louche snowman! And gorgeous almond blossom.

I went looking for cherry blossom this morning, but it's still a bit early for it here.

Did you mean actual cherries, or any rose-family fruit trees? It was too early for anything other than almonds here - and now some of the early cherry plums (we have many different varieties coming into bloom and ripening at different times scattered randomly around the area).

Some of the ornamental cherries - planted for pink blossom rather than fruit - have started flowering in the towns here. But it will be a while before we see anything in blossom out in the countryside.
