thanks! yeah i felt that it fit the way Annie would feel (heartbroken on the inside but trying to keep a brave face on the outside) plus i like the song and thought that it fit the prompt so it was a win win :)

I had never heard Almost Lover before and I thought it was an amazing song choice. I also almost put Everything You Want on my mix as well, so great choice there as well. As a whole I liked the mix, although, a couple times I felt that the mix wasn't 100% cohesive, like Taylor Swift kind of felt out of place with your other song choices. Otherwise though great job.

Thanks! A Fine Frenzy is a nice listen if you like that type of music (i know i was psyched to see their song "electric twist" on someone else's fanmix on the m/m community a while back)
i totally understand your Taylor Swift comment--i think i was so caught up in trying to have the songs fit the episode that i kinda strayed away from the prompt of distance and so that's where that song came from...oh well, i'll be sure to try to be more consistent with themes and music next time i make a fanmix

I love the title you chose for the mix, and the fact a lot of the songs are Annie POVs :D
And the lyrics you have posted from all of them are perfect.
Love the coverart; it's like the ghosts of Annie and Rich are haunting Jeff, which they were throughout the episode. I think Jeff's mind was his worst enemy there.

thanks so much! i felt as though the lyric "as you turn you take your heart and walk away" fit the j/a bathroom scene really well and that's what most of the songs i chose revolved around
thanks for the coverart compliment! i really liked making it and it was really fun playing around with the pictures (plus jeff's pouting face is not only somehow the saddest yet best thing i've ever scene but also i felt his expression went with the vibe of the mix)

I'm not going to write all my impressions since I'm rating/critiquing your mix right now, but I have to say, I really really love the songs you put in this mix. I'm having a nice time listening to them while writing down my comments :D
