So, I saw United 93 yesterday. A more powerful movie has never been made, nor will ever be made again. What can I say? It's been long overdue, in my opinion. Yes, some of it was hard to watch, and yes, I did shed a tear or two. But everybody needs to see this movie. "We're not over there for oil, or to finish what Bush Sr. started, we are there because the terrorists ATTACKED us, on our own soil, for no reason other than pure hatered for everything this country was founded upon."
i also beleive)
money that were spent on the war and are being spent now , imho, are more than that could be spent on just buying oil. ohhhh, my english... sometimes i think i'd better learn german)))
i think that countries where democracy was forced without their will some time ago (not without US's participation) such as germany and japan, are now prospering. why can't it be in iraq too? and
especially since saddam was not the best ruler at all, so why souldn't be given to people of iraq possibility to choose and to change their leader, as we do...
oh... soooo long comment)))))))

I know this was a long time ago (I'm looking for a certain survey in my friends journals & I don't know who has it)but we're studying this this year for our exam next June. I think the movie made the event a lot more real to people, especially me- as not being in the US almost made it seem like a fairytale. I didn't cry but I was in the position to cry at the end because I felt like I was on that plane and I felt exactly what I expect people had felt at the time. lot of people around me cried. A really powerful movie.
