This is a lot

Las Vegas was extremely eventful. I really should had posted day by day in here but I was too drunk/sick/busy.

* Found the greatest record store ever. Spent 220 dollars in CDs. Some of which included; new Manchester Orchestra, Empire of the Sun, Joy Electric, the Beirut/realpeople split EP and well several other rarities, reissues, and some albums Ive been putting off buying or couldnt find for years.

* Having to walk back 2 miles (for me in flip flops) from the record store in 100 degree weather until we finally were able to get a cab to pick us up.

* Scott getting drunk, renting a moped and crashing it 5 minutes later, wrecking it and seperating his shoulder.

* Not gambling!

* Going to an all you can eat sushi bar and eating 4 plates full of sushi, 48 pieces total, and being asked to stop eating by the waiter.

* Hanging out with the OUTV crew and getting to know some good peoples. Including a couple girls who I got rather chummy with. My friendliness ofcourse confused the group of nerds from the radio station, leading rumors to start which ended in this one creepy kid who was previously stalking them, to threaten to 'break my jaw' because 'he is a militant feminist and he dosent like my objectification of them.'.....I know right? Yeah confusing but trust me, its a weird as it sounds.

* Going to the NAB convention mettings only 3 times total when I was required to go to 3 times a day...ooops!

* Discovery the beauty of the Sports Book. Surrounded by tvs with every sporting event in the world playing infront of me. Niiiiiice.

* Accidentally going to 5 star fancy steakhouse, then eating a fancy king crab leg that has made me sick.

* Karoke! I sang Survivor- High on You. Oh boy did I try hard to work the Survivor vocals. Also I worked my seductive hips while singing too. I put on quite a show and I believe video of that will appear on the internet soon.

* Seeing two great shows; "Rock ON Tops OFF!" which was a topless show where a bunch of skanks danced around with this horrible house band playing generic rock covers in the background. The guitarist and lead singer wore all leather, had long hair, a soul patch and sunglasses. He couldnt sing in key to save his life and he butcherd some songs on guitar so bad that in the intro of a couple songs we couldnt even figure out what they were. Weird enough the rest of the band was composed of drummer who looked like 90's Lenny Kravitz and some skinny indie kid on keyboard, who seemed waaaaaay out of place.
The second show was a live version of the Price Is Right. It was exactly like the show. They had the sets, contestants were called up to bid, it was pretty neat. I had a Price Is Right name tag that I put on my suitcase but it fell off during the flight.

* I met the cutest girl working at the massage table in the lobby. I felt bad because I totally hit on her like a pig when I was drunk. To make it up to her I got another massage with a huge tip later in the week. We got to actually talking and she was telling me how much she hated Las Vegas and how she puts in her time at work, then she just likes to go home and read and listen to music. I found that so adorable, I want to use the word charming but I never hear that used for girls. We talked about books and we talked about music. Ironically when I brought up Owen she said her favorite song was "the one where he rides a bike in the video" which just so happens to be the song my tattoo is themed after. So that was a funny coincidence. We exchanged myspaces and have been talking even since I got back. Wish I had more time. Would had liked the chance to hang out with her, kinda get like a Lost In Translation thing going on.

* Was sick the entire last day. We had to check out at 11 am and our plane was set to take off at 10 pm. This also happend to me in Traverse City and Champange. For reason I keep getting sick on days where we check out of the room and Im stranded from being able to rest. Still I soldierd on. There was this one italian resturant called "Battistas Hole in the Wall" that I wanted to go to all week and finally was able to right before we left for the airport. We went to the bar because the dining room had an hour wait. I got fried ravioli and it was great. Didnt help my stomach though. The hot azn bartender flirted with me enough to where I could keep trudging along though.

* Threw up 6 times total. 4 drunken, 2 food poisoned.

* Plane was delayed 3 hours. I ended up not minding the delay though, we made it fun. I slept the entire flight back which was apparently a good thing because I guess it was really scary. A lot of turbulance and the plane kept making random steep drops in altitude.

If you read all of that and leave me a comment with a comprehensive summary of it, I'll buy you lunch. You would be earning it.

SCHOOL IS OVER!

I have a few more things to post about. Very interesting things but I just wanted to get cought up and I'll return to posting regularly in a day or two.

till my next entry
