oh no, i have played, and it is not. I have yet to experience single player mode, but the multiplayer on X-box live is alone worth the price of purchase.

what games are good for xbox besides halo? I am thinking of getting my bf an xbox and a game for his 25th bday. It's the only system he doesn't have. Any game suggestions?

there are many great ones. I just got Lord of the Rings the Third Age and thats great if you are a LOTR fan. Halo2 is the best game for the system bar none. Also, i would sugest picking up 2 or 3 of the platinum hits as they are cheaper and great, good ones are Star Wars knights of the old republic, spider man, and Tony Hawks underground. Also, if he likes sports, the entire ESPN 2005 sports series are only 20 bucks apiece and they are great games. Hope that helps babe!
