My mom had to go to the ER earlier today. She's okay now, but for a while I was really worried. I can't stand the thought of losing her- it makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it for too long.
But it made me think about this post secret post card:

Woah there. What happened?! I leave the country for 2 weeks and all of a sudden WHAT??! Are you guys okay?

She had a bowel upstruction. Kinda gross-that's why I didn't go into it at first, but you asked...
Anyway, when after 4 days, it suddenly went from uncomfortable pain to OMG pain overnight, I was sure that it had burst! ( I hadn't taken it seriously before, but they can be really dangerous)
Turns out it didn't burst and she's okay now, but it was pretty scary for a while there.
