I just read the links to Living Bibically. It's a fascinating gold mine of information. I also read the link to Being Good, eh! Sounds like a serious commitment there. It reminded me of the training for a Vodun priest, where they have to live without any thought of sex for a year, not even if they are married. To indicate this they wear a white cloth hat or bandana, to show their thoughts are pure. It's even worn in bed, as a reminder. Of course they are going to do something useful with all that built up frustration.

On the wearing ancient robes, well we in the Druid world have seen plenty of that, although we don't usually see it worn to work just freezing cold stone circles. I've often been envious of the others wearing all their bed clothing as clothes. I'm just wondering if I can get my king size duvet in some kind of robe like thing for next Imbolc!

I still use my granny blanket for full on ceremonials, or a thing to sit/lie on for meditations.. or as an extra camping comfort blanket. Its getting very tattered and darned now, but its not up to stone circles in winter. Just getting my inside out sheep coat ready for the drive to work next week... booo hissssss
