Disclaimer: All recognizable characters are not ours. Sadie, Aiden, Sophie, Thomas, and Barry, however, are.
Summary: Facts. They are random.
Notes: Also done during the Overnight of Awesome. First of three (Aiden and Sophie to follow).
1) When Sadie was little, she thought the self defense tricks her father taught her were a game. Then she saw Kestrel use them on a bad guy bigger than him. She took it more seriously after that.
2) Sadie remembers meeting Aiden for the first time. She thought he was too little and not very cute, like other babies she'd met-and then she touched his hand and he closed his tiny fist around her finger. Her father had to pry her finger free-for years, she was sure this meant that Aiden recognized her as his sister.
3) When Sophie came home from the hospital, Sadie stopped having friends over. She was a baby not a doll.
4) The biggest trouble Sadie ever got into at school was when she gave Zach Perkins a bloody nose after she saw him shove Aiden off the swings at recess.
5) And she wasn’t sorry. Tim and Cissie had to threaten her with no cartoons for a month to coerce her into apologizing. She told Zach later that if he touched her brother again, she’d break his arm.
6) Sadie learned at a young age that if she kept quiet and out of sight, she could overhear a lot of things she wasn’t supposed to. She also figured out that her parents talked about the really interesting things after she was supposed to be in bed-this earned her a lot of extra chores.
7) Sadie figured that Robin would be a fight with her dad. She had no idea how bad it would be.
8) She also had no idea how bad the training would be.
9) At the first meeting of Young Justice, Sadie looked around her at the other young heroes and thought, “This will never work.”
10) Sadie was mostly relieved when Aiden decided not to join the “family business”-but a small part of her had really looked forward to working with him.
11) She was really glad when he took up his Merlin ID. She got to work with her little brother, and he got to stay safe.
12) She told Sophie that going behind their parents’ backs was a stupid idea. She has no idea how she convinced them to let her be Arrowette after they found out.
13) Sadie was glad to give up Robin when Jason became Batman. She was ready to move on-and she knew she’d never be able to work with him every night. Besides, Batman should have his own Robin-he shouldn’t inherit one.
14) The best part about being Kite was working with her dad more often.
15) The worst thing about being Kite was working with her dad more often.
16) Sadie was really protective of the new kid his first few times out. She says it’s a Robin thing-Tim agrees.
17) That’s not to say she didn’t consider showing him just how new he was when she found out he was dating her sister.
18) Sadie’s first date with Thomas wasn’t supposed to be a date-she needed someone to go to one of her grandfather’s charity balls with. Kid Flash was the only person available at the last second. She had no idea that he knew how to dance-or that he owned a suit.
19) After that, she didn’t take anyone else.
20) If someone had told her when she was young that she would fall in love with Thomas Allen-of all people-she would have laughed herself silly.
