Warnings: None.
Disclaimer: All recognizable characters are not ours. Sadie, Aiden, Sophie, Thomas, and Selene, however, are.
Summary: Facts. They are random.
Notes: Also done during the Overnight of Awesome. Third of three (previous: Sadie and Aiden).
1) Sophie refused to let her parents pick out her clothes for her first day of preschool. She would not leave the house unless she could dress herself-so she did: in rainbow striped tights, a pink tutu, and a lime green blouse, with her Dorothy Shoes from Halloween.
2) Sophie didn’t even think before knocking down that fourth-grader. He was pushing Aiden, so she pushed him. It wasn’t her fault if Daddy taught her a few extra tricks.
3) She liked to hang out with Aiden while he did his homework. When she was little, she would bring toys, coloring books, or books into his room-when she had her own homework she brought that into his room to work with him. This continued until Aiden was in high school.
4) And much to her dismay, he consistently refused to do her homework for her.
5) If she couldn’t sleep, or had a nightmare, Sophie would sneak into Sadie’s room. Sometimes she would do it just because.
6) When Terry McGuinness put a frog into her lunchbox in the second grade, Sophie vowed to hate him for as long as she lived.
7) Sophie was six when Sadie became Robin. When she was seven, she decided she would be Arrowette, and she would have to be sneaky about it if she didn’t want her parents-especially her dad-to flip out.
8) She didn’t even consider how badly her Mom would react.
9) Sophie was in her first play in Kindergarten. She was in every school play every year after that.
10) When she had to play Hermia opposite Terry’s Lysander in the seventh grade, she thought she would die.
11) After that , she just stopped talking to him-outside of what was required if they had a class together. At least, until junior year of high school.
12) And she never would have started talking to him then if she’d known who he was. She’d like to state for the record: masks suck. Except how they don’t.
13) Sophie’s best friend is Selene. They’ve been friends since before they could walk-Sophie can tell Selene anything and they know everything about each other. But Sophie will never get what Selene sees in her brother.
14) Sophie wasn’t sure about joining a team where her sister was in charge, but she supposes they’re better off with Sadie than with someone like Thomas.
15) She loves archery, but never wanted to compete like Aiden does-she prefers her style of archery to the competitive kind. Plus, it would have interfered with her drama commitments.
16) She was a little worried that Arrowette would interfere with her drama commitments, too, and was willing to make the sacrifice. Roy told her that school came first, though, and that included drama.
17) When they need help or advice, Sadie turns to Dad, and Aiden generally goes to Mom-Sophie goes to them. If she wants sympathy (or has done something really stupid), she usually goes to Aiden-he’s more patient. But when she really screws up-or if it’s a Girl Thing-she talks to Sadie. Unless she feels like watching Aiden twitch.
18) When Sophie decided to be Arrowette, she went to both Aiden and Sadie to help her. They both told her that there was no way they would help her hide something that big from their parents.
19) But they did.
20) After that, Aiden became convinced that Sophie’s ability to whine and wheedle and get her way was nothing short of a superpower.
