Paris: Montmartre (arty district with cheeep good cafe's), and the basilica at the top of the hill. I would go here instead of the Louvre if I had limited time.

Dublin: Trinity college, go see the book of kells, hang out in the square in Temple Bar if you get a nice sunny bit of afternoon. This is where you will find freaks and geeks and alley-shops and I wish we'd discovered it earlier to spend more time there.

My experience of Germany is *coff* years old and in might-as-well-be-in-Denmark, so of no use.

:: grin :: thanks! Erin really wants to see the book of kell as well. How did you all get around while you were there?

We chose a B&B within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, and took a bus to/from the airport. The buses are frequent and close to everything, but!

* they only take exact change
and
* people steal/rip down the schedules posted at the stops, so find one somehow or somewhere else beforehand.

haha, alright, that's good to know. I'm trying to figure out this website: http://plannerint.b-rail.be/bin/query.exe/en?L=b-rail& as I think it will help us navigate between cities, but it's a little confusing.

I'd stay away from Belfast. It was getting better but they've been killing cops up there recently.

Also, I suggest Hong Kong. From what I hear it's become even more impressive in the 20 years since I last went; my uncle and his family love it there.

Damn, because the flight to Paris via Easyjet that we want is out of Belfast.

If you're not there for too long, you will probably be okay. If you were planning on spending a lot of time there, I'd advise against it.

I have a suggestion. Take me with you. That sounds so much better than being at work.
