I finally gave up on my lappy last night and got a new one. Seaweed has been setting me up all night - and the poor otter is all tuckered out. I need to go give her snuggles...

What was wrong with the old one?

Besides being a dinosaur that would barely run many programs, it caught a nasty virus that was new enough for my shields not to pick it up. We saved all the important stuff off of it, but I finally decided to stop putting it off and instead of reinstalling I upgraded. Will be getting a recovery disk from a friend and re-formatting the old one to a backup system.
