Ariya survived, but all he can think about is that she very nearly died, and it was all his fault. He should have been more careful, he should have...
He doesn't quite know how he could have stopped him, but he should have anyway. His mistakes are not worth the lives of his students.

There is nothing much to do in there, but that’s fine with him. He welcomes the rest. He sits by Ariya’s side and sips tea, occasionally stroking her hair when she becomes restless, lost in thoughts and questions.
More than anything, the hatred he feels towards Usoa burns fiercely.
He looks down at her.
If it’s the last thing he does, Usoa will pay tenfold more for this.
(Does it make me a terrible person that I love to see him fall apart? :/)

She comes to again some time later, this time managing ti get through the fog well enough that she can make out the vague shape of someone sitting by her bed. She struggles to open her eyes more, and tilts her head up, seeing a shock of bright red hair. "Sulli...?" she murmurs
