One shot: Broken

Nathaniel does not sleep soundly.

Shallow breaths leave his lips, air wheezing in his throat as though it is too tight to let it through, and his skin is pale and clammy, grey hair damp from cold sweat. His head rests on Sullivan’s chest with the ear pressed close to the heart within that beats steadily, slowly. Every limb is ( Read more... )

GEE THANKS FOR MAKING ME SOB LIKE A LITTLE GIRL AND HAVE MY FAMILY LOOK AT ME REALLY WEIRD. JERK.

I don't think you're a terrible person for writing it, though. I think it was amazing and wonderful and heart-wrenching. And I think that it was a wonderful insight into Sulli's character and how heartbreaking it must have been for him to lose one of the people he most cared about.

Beautiful work, love. ♥

Thank you, love ♥♥

This is what happens when I don't feel well and I need to share it/take it out on something. I love Nathaniel, and I feel like a bastard for doing this to him, but I needed to. I think, out of the whole thing, the part that I like the most is when Ariya crawls under the bed with him.

I understand. I used to RP Alice at a Kingdom Hearts comm, and whenever I had a bad day I'd write about awful things happening to her and I'd feel better afterwards. Besides, I really like this oneshot. It's really sad, but I think it's beautiful anyway. And Nathaniel couldn't live forever. *hug*

I liked that part too. I'd like to think that she made gingerbread men to cheer him up, too.

It's very therapeutic. Or it has the reverse effect and just makes me feel worse. Sulli was the perfect person to write, because I can relate to him, emotionally. There's something really, really beautiful about sadness that I don't get, but it's there anyway.

She should. That'd be perfect. I don't think I ever asked, but when is Anton's birthday?
