In the morning Jaspre wakes slowly, perhaps a bit later than he meant to, to find the caravan empty. He gets dressed, runs a hand through his too long, scruffy hair and makes his way to the mess area, where Absinthia and Grimm are talking over porridge and tea.

The practice for a few hours before they decide to stop; they'll need energy for tonight's show, and Alejandro is famished from not eating last night.

When he arrives at the mess area however, he has to stop and do a double take before his face splits into a wide grin. "Well, that can't be right," he says as he walks over to where Grimm, Absinthia and Jaspre sit. "What is a Princess doing where our dear Sinthia should be sitting?" He gives her a very stern look. "Princess, have you seen Sinthia? I'm sure she was here last night."

{That's alright. I had to go do something for my mom anyway. I think you described it fine. :D That's so cute. :3}

She blinks up at him. Then, as she understands that he is teasing her, she pouts. “I’m right here, stupid,” she says. “Do you like my dress, Ale?”

(I'll admit, I had to go look up dresses!)

He smiles. "I think it's beautiful, Princess," he says. "Can you give us a little twirl?"

“Okay!” Quickly she slides down from the bench and takes a few steps back, lifting her dress a bit so it won’t get dirty, and does a spin, then another, and a third. She keeps at it until she is dizzy and unable to walk in a straight line back to the bench, a wide smile on her face.

“The little Princess certainly knows how to spin,” Jaspre chuckles. His eyes stray to Alejandro and the smile on the boy’s lips; it touches his eyes, giving them back the spark that was missing yesterday, and that makes the money he spent on the gifts well worth it.

(True, that. Sometimes it can be very frustrating, though, to be a foreigner.)
