Earlier this year, my employer renegotiated their contract with AT&T to fill their logistical needs. They agreed to a cost saving measure that, among other things, cut my salary by 60 cents an hour. Good grief! And expect you to accomplish the same work in 35 hours as you did in 40 ('cause the assumption is that everybody slacks and that that's the time that's being trimmed)

Glad it's not another layoff though ... I think you've had your quota (the post above this one on my flist was the dread L-word so I seriously "eeped" when I saw how your entry began, thinking that's where it was leading as well)
