Wednesday afternoon, 12th May 2010.
After our short
stop in Edinburgh we were heading to Loch ness :)
We decided to take the scenic route going through the south part, and the lakes and all.
It was a few hours longer but so much worth it.
We still managed to make a few non fuzzy stops :)
Loch Earn:
So even if we didn't really have time to stop much on the road, the scenery was really beautiful,
and much in-car photo shooting ensued !
You'll have to excuse the quality of some of those photos ;)
It was really nice such a variety of landscapes in such a short time,
and it was only the beginning, as we were hitting the Isle of Skye later on that trip,
it's about the same, you'll see when I post that part of the trip ,
but you can switch from a forest with lakes,
to a desertic and apocalyptic landscape in 1 hour of time ;)
oh nooeesss they killed all the trees
Wait, are we really going to go in between those ...
Yesss ;)
GlenCoe was really one of my preferred part of the Trip,
we didn't have time to suit up there on the way to Loch ness as we were short on time,
we thought we'd find something similar on the Isle of Skye,
but even if the scenery and landscapes are very varied and awesome on Isle of Skye we didn't really find something like that.
I really really loved that area.
Kinda looks like if you are on Mars, you've such a variety and contrast of colors in that place,
from the dark stones, to snow, to the green of trees, small waterfalls, water of the lake, to the yellow of the other thingies..
wow
Photos don't really make the place justice, but they'll be already better on the way back,
you'll see later on,
as fortunately we went through GlenCoe again on the way back to the Ferry a few days later
and we were able to get fuzzy. >:)
Bye bye GlenCoe, see you soon for fuzzy adventure ;)
We arrived quite late on that day,
so we didn't get to do much,
tried to make a quickie outing to the castle,
but it was closed , well we'll see the day after then ;)
Just shot a quickie before heading back , as we weren't sure how the weather would be on the next day,
you know .. UK... ;P
A few tourists late like us ;)
You don't want to know what is written on the sign to the right *cough* *cough* bad meerkats.
On the way back, we made a special encounter !
Look what I found !
Nessy is real, Shhhhtttt I'll catch her for you !
Gotcha !
