Scotland tour: Eilean Donan Castle and area

Thursday afternoon,13th of May 2010.

Soooo, after the fun outing in the morning at Urquhart Castle
it was time to hit the road to head toward the Isle of Skye with a stop in between at Eilean Donan Castle. :)
Yeah yeah another castle, the last one, after that we'll tour in the middle of nowhere ;)

Very nice photos again. ^^ I really love that landscape, and the castle looks like a very nice place - rugged on the outside, cozy on the inside.

Ooh, and Skye. Did you try any of the local whiskies there? :)

I don't like Whiskies myself, but Junkvist tried a few local ones. :)

One of my best memories ever ! Sometimes I dream of that place.

You can't even imagine it really exists unless you're there. Light & scenery is amazing and keeps changing every second...

Fursuiting there...no words to describe that ! And to be caught in fursuit by the family and the other hosts was a great moment !

The Isle of Sky is where my clan castle sits! The Dunvegan which is the McLeod Castle! Can you get pics of it for me?

We went through there, but err.. not sure to remember, didn't suit up, but I think we got a few piccies from far. *g*

aww I don't know the hours it is open and closed. I would love to go there some day and see where my heritage came from and my clan.
