So as a sociology minor I have to take a handful of classes that mean I've learned what sociology is, and how it applies, etc. However, what I have found is that I am becoming more and more frustrated with many (though not all) sociologists as I go along. Though intro soc and family soc didn't make me feel like this my two current classes, gender

well Vanessa as much as I love you I still have to say that kids in the downtown city center do leave school to support their family, if your parents are absent or on drugs or that sort of things it is common for the oldest to drop out and get a job to feed the younger ones. Then when they get a chance at a second chance school because they have a different structure than normal schools (usually)and allow them to feed their siblings and get an education it isvery important because they can feel like everyone else but do what they need to. Yes some kids are "bad" and lazy and everything else so they drop out but kids these days still do drop out for reasons beyond their control.

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN EXCEPT THE WAY THEY ARE SOCIALIZED. hahaha
