They were chatting at the bar, her and Jordan. It was a nice sunny day in Haruvatat, and Cavanaugh's was a busy place, as it usually was at lunch time. "Eh, Jordan ... Do you see anything wrong with this?" she asked, reaching out to wave her hand in the fog. It all but disappeared.

Jordan dropped the rag she'd been using to wipe down the bar and hurried over to the door.

"What the hell is that?"

"Fog? I mean, it looks like fog, but ... it's thicker than any I've ever seen before."

Then again, New York City didn't get foggy that often.
