Wow, I'm amazed looking at the photos of your world... Will you look at your garden, already so lush and green and fertile.

And those squash? Feed me Seymour!

We still have frost and cold earth, but puddles and puddles of rain. Makes me feel a million miles away from you.

Congrats on the beautiful garden. It really looks happy in your new home :)

I'm starting to fear the squash.

Heeeee.

I feel that way about my pumpkins every year. I swear sone days they grow by FEET. *shiver*

I remember readining somwhere that if you listen to a really big pumpkin with a stethascope you can hear it drinking in the water. I need to try that this year!

What kind of ducks are those btw? We have a pair of wood ducks that live up in our oak trees but those look different?

Those are Mexican Whislters or Whistling ducks. They have very bright beaks.

I've never successfully grown pumpkins, but I'm going to try again this year.

Beautiful! I'm going to plant more squash too - I've already been attacked by vine borers - I did my defensive maneuvers, but it remains to be seen if they ultimately survive.

I'm surprised I've only had one vine attacked by borers so far.

Something is eating my corn, and I haven't had time to figure out what it is, or even what to do about it.
